This session will focus on the main types of technologies available, selection criteria, and tips for successful implementation. We will consider steam turbines, gas turbines, compressors, pumps and electric motors, showing how accuracy can be used to aid process control, troubleshooting and provide a tool for enhanced productivity. We will also discuss novel technologies for torque measurement; are they suitable for oil and gas applications?
