One of the major advantages of reciprocating compressors is the wide variety of capacity control options available. We will explain the need for it and compare various methods of capacity control. Each will have different implications to cost, reliability, efficiency, complexity, stability and amount of turndown. We will review the advantages and disadvantages of each method and open the floor for any attendee questions relating to their real-world applications.
